CEU Executive MBA Fellowship for People Managers
Are you a Human Resource (HR) Manager? Or rather a true People Manager? If it’s the latter, consider applying for a generous international fellowship offered by CEU Executive MBA.
Background
The term Human Resource Management (HRM), dating back to the early 20th century, is rather unfortunate as it epitomizes the commodification of labor and employees. When it’s viewed as “people management,” however, the “HRM” and its practitioners have the potential to positively contribute to both more effective organizations and a better society. As the global fight for talented employees tightens, skillful people managers play an increasingly strategic role in determining business success. They also serve an increasingly important social function, being at the forefront of long-overdue changes in attitudes towards workplace discrimination and harassment of women and members of minority and disadvantaged communities.
Recognizing this important organizational and social potential of modern People Managers, CEU Executive MBA has founded a generous international fellowship, whose winner will receive up to 50 percent reduction of the full CEU Executive MBA tuition of EUR 29.000.
Fellowship for People Managers: Applicant Profile
Applicant for the Fellowship for People Managers should have at least 8 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of documented leadership/managerial experience, in the HR or related field and demonstrate a distinguished record of promoting a more humane, flat, equal and just workplace. The candidate should, in addition, have an undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification and apply for the August 2023 intake of the CEU Executive MBA program via the regular application form.

How do we create organizations that allow everybody to reach their true potential? A first step is that we invest in our HR professionals so that they are genuine People Managers,” points out Prof. Maciej Kisilowski, Faculty Director of CEU Executive MBA.
The winner of the Fellowship will receive up to 50 percent reduction of the full CEU Executive MBA tuition of EUR 29.000.
Applications will be reviewed and considered on a rolling basis. The Selection Committee reserves the right to choose awardees.
