Best-in-Class Multi-Campus Experience
The innovative structure of CEU Executive MBA allows you to combine the network and energy of Vienna during our spring, fall, and winter modules with the relaxed ambiance of Budapest during the summer.
The program offers a truly best-in-class, multi-campus experience. In both cities, CEU benefits from modern urban campuses designed for learning in the 21st century.
Designed for Learning
Designed by the award-winning architecture firm O’Donnell & Tuomey, the CEU Budapest campus has been shortlisted among just four designs worldwide for one of the most prestigious architecture awards, the Royal Institute of British Architects’ RIBA International Prize. Executive MBA classes are taught in the mix of executive-style tiered classrooms, conference-style auditoriums and smaller seminar rooms for electives. Multiple small study rooms are also available for team breakout sessions.
Both campuses feature access to one of the largest English-language libraries in continental Europe, a collection of nearly 400,000 hardcopy and e-books.
You will have access to over 44,000 electronic journals and about 200 current print subscriptions. The library system gives you access from either campus. Our campuses also feature multiple canteens, cafes, common spaces, a modern Sports Center and stunning rooftop terraces with panoramic city views.
Online-Ready Campuses
All our auditoriums and seminar rooms are equipped with high-end audiovisual equipment that allows participants who could not travel to a module to feel as if they are in class. Classes are equipped with high-quality microphones that capture both the lecturer and the on-site participants. HD cameras are installed not only in auditoriums but also in each breakout room so that online participants can seamlessly join their team projects.
Accommodation Options
Both in Vienna and Budapest, we offer our participants a variety of attractively priced accommodation options in hotels and the CEU Residence in Budapest. Our partner accommodations are within a 30-minute maximum commute by public transport, but we also offer options that are within a 15-minute walk from the campus.
Multi-Campus Experience
All our modern facilities are only the backdrop to what is really important. Our campus life is defined by the principle of tolerance and diversity, skepticism towards dogmas and hierarchies, and a voracious appetite for respectful, rational discussion of ideas.
When you enter the CEU campus, you will be challenged by fellow graduate students from nearly 120 countries as well as world-class faculty from over 40 countries.
According to recent The Times Higher Education rankings, that makes CEU the second most international university in the world.
Become a Community Member
While you obviously will benefit particularly from interactions with fellow Executive MBA participants, your campus experience will also be impacted by master and doctoral students from a wide variety of disciplines. CEU campus life involves, on average, two academic events (presentations, seminars, guest lectures) a day and numerous formal and informal social activities.
This includes both the dedicated CEU Executive MBA practitioners series called “The Fireside Hour” and a host of relevant university-wide events. You will be eligible to join a wide variety of student clubs, including the Finance Club, Music Club (organizing regular concerts), numerous sports clubs and the Spectrum LGBTQI+ Club.
In allowing you to be a member of an active and diverse academic community, we stand in contrast with many programs that treat mid-career MBA as a standalone, self-contained experience.
We recognize that the CEU Executive MBA may be the only opportunity to truly “go back to school” and take a deliberate, structured perspective on your professional and personal development.
Our two modern urban campuses give you the environment to benefit from that crucial intellectual juncture of your life to the fullest.
In Participants' Words
“CEU Executive MBA gives you an opportunity for a world-class American campus life without interrupting your career, moving your family & putting you in high debt. I do not think there is another place like this in Europe or outside of the USA.”
