CEU Executive MBA Fellowship for Promoting Social Mobility in Germany, with support from Friedrich Ebert Foundation

CEU Executive MBA Program offers a highly competitive, merit-based Fellowship with support from Friedrich Ebert Foundation for an outstanding professional in Germany who exemplifies the promise of social mobility.

Despite its overall economic success, Germany lags among developed nations in terms of social mobility. According to OECD, it takes as many as six generations for Germans from low-income families to reach the country’s average income; the analogous figure in Denmark is just two generations. The CEU Executive MBA Fellowship aims to support and reward an outstanding professional in Germany who exemplifies the promise of social mobility.

The winner of the Fellowship for Promoting Social Mobility in Germany will receive up to 50 percent reduction of the full CEU Executive MBA tuition of EUR 29.000. The fellowship will be awarded to a manager or entrepreneur, who has succeeded in breaking through socio-economic barriers and challenges in Germany and who is a current resident of that country.
